| Re: Long Roots
Hi there.......
Ditto... I have the same problem except that not only has the tooth been RC but at the bottom of the really really long roots is a bone infection reaching just 1mm away from the IAN. The problem is my first lower molar. I have eye pain and blurred vision when things get bad, sinus probs, nasal pressure, back pain all the way down to my lower back, choking/gagging feeling in my throat, ear ache etc...Ridiculous. I am beginning to think it would be best to have the tooth extracted and have peace rather than keep hoping the tooth will settle (three months later!) and that the bone infection will miraculously disappear. I had my other lower right first molar extracted (similar problem) and have had peace ever since on that side. Some people just have long roots and with age and wisdom tooth extractions, things start to move around in your mouth and the long roots can start to cause problems.
Let me know what you decide to do and how you get on.
Take care
