Funky Chick

I am having a panic and it is 21.15 here so I can't ring my periodontist or dentist. I had periodontal surgery four weeks ago and between two of my teeth there is now a large gap. This evening I was trying to get some food out of the hole and the Te Pe brush went downwards and I hit bone. I am now in a panic - is this usual following surgery? It is not painful but it is very sensitive to cold.
