It's possible that you have food stuck between your front teeth and/or that has become wedged down in to the gumline. If you flossed and tried to get the food out, this can cause some irritation as well depending on hard you worked to get the food out from between your teeth.
Another possibility is that you stressed the ligiments that hold a tooth in it's socket. This is not uncommon, especially when eating corn on the cob. If the ligiments have become stressed and sore, it can take a few days to a few weeks for them to settle down and the sensitivity to go away.
