Re: lower front teeth aching

It's possible that you have food stuck between your front teeth and/or that has become wedged down in to the gumline. If you flossed and tried to get the food out, this can cause some irritation as well depending on hard you worked to get the food out from between your teeth.

Another possibility is that you stressed the ligiments that hold a tooth in it's socket. This is not uncommon, especially when eating corn on the cob. If the ligiments have become stressed and sore, it can take a few days to a few weeks for them to settle down and the sensitivity to go away.

D_pos,

How old are you? How's your oral hygiene? If you went to the bathroom mirror and used your index finger gently wiggling the teeth forward and backward, do you see any movement?

Re: lower front teeth aching

I'm 22, my teeth aren't in the greatest shape as my gum's do bleed when poked at, and I have a fair share of cavaties. My teeht don't move when I wiggle them.

My teeth have been feeling better down there, but I still feel like touching them with my tongue.
