Dental Decay and Pain Medications

Any Dentists moderating this, info would be appreciated. My husband has advanced MS, on multiple medications. One tooth recently broke off at the gum, others are beginning to show signs of heavy decay at the gum line and roots are being exposed. Yes he has sees a dentist 2x a year, when this problem first ocurred a year ago was told to stop drinking coffee it was staining his teeth. Any relation to Pain Medications and Dental Decay.

Re: Dental Decay and Pain Medications

I would question how much sugar is in the coffee, not the pain meds
