Chipped front tooth at gum line
I was at the dentist a little over 1 month ago to have my teeth cleaned and the 5 minute look over by the dentist. No issues raised to me. Today, I look in the mirror and notice a dark spot at the gumline of my front top tooth. I thought it was a leftover popcorn piece stuck at the gum. Nope, it is a chip! Like a windshield chip. Darkened with coffee stain. I run my tongue across it and i can feel it.
I have no idea when it happened or how it happened! How can food chip that part of a tooth? Is it decay? Folks, what do you think?
