Safe to rinse with hydrogen peroxide on veneers/caps?

I have 3 veneers and one cap as my front teeth. Is it safe to rinse my mouth with 3% hydrogen peroxide? I heard this can weaken the bonds between my teeth and the veneers/caps. Is that true?

Thanks.

You should never rtinse with Hydrogen Peroxide unless specificaaly prescribed by your dentist. It has adverse effects on your gums and tissue. Try a non-alcoholic antibacterial mouthwash.

What adverse effects does it have? Just curious.

I read that also. I guess the 3% in drugstores has other ingredients used as stabilizers. I was just wondering if Dabner was referring to all HP solutions, or just the kind in the drugstore.

I also read about a home treatment where you inject an HP solution down into your deep pockets using a special applicator in order to heal gum infections. Has anyone ever heard of that?
