This greenish tint to 2 of my teeth at the top

Ok.. In the last month or so.. I have noticed a greenish tint at the top of 2 of my teeth around the gums. I have a dentist appointment on the 18th, 10 days away. I brush my teeth daily.. I am afraid this is something that I can't remove. Will teeth whitening help with this?

Hi there. I would wait before trying any home remedy to remove the green tint: see what your dentist thinks about it. You want your dentist to be able to see what the problem is: so don't try and hide it now. Post again after you see the dentist: I'm curious as to what he/she tells you. Debbie

Re: This greenish tint to 2 of my teeth at the top

A long time ago a friend of mine had a simialr problem - I thought she told me it ended up being a type of bacteria or fungus, not sure which. But it had to do with her diet, I believe. Also, is it really green or more like a pale shade of grey that looks greenish under certain lighting? My front tooth died when I was younger and I thought it looked green too but my dentist told me it was grey from dying. He bleached it after doing a root canal and it looked fine for many years.

I hope to god its not dead. Its the front left tooth and the tooth the left of it. I have never had problems with the teeth.. I can't wait to go to the dentist.. in a way.
