| Re: ill fiitting crown
[Removed] I have never heard of a dentist adjusting other teeth to suit the new crown. Whatever you do, do NOT let him adjust that crown any more. He should not be grinding on other teeth to make the crown fit. I would give him one more chance redo the crown as far as taking impressions and refabricating the crown but don't let him "adjust" any other teeth. The idea is to make the new crown fit not change the contour of the present teeth. I'm not familiar with the procera crown, but any crown that doesn't fit should be adjusted. If you don't have confidence in this dentist, then your best bet is to go elsewhere. You have every right to ask questions about what he is doing and why. Be honest with any dentist and tell him about your negative experience. Unfortunately, there are incompetent dentists out there who are just seeing $$ signs instead of helping their patients the way they are supposed to.
