Re: how long do i have to wait to eat after a filling?

Generally, it's once the numbness wears off, assuming you got shots with it. I had a small filling done without shots once (not recommended) but was told I could eat immediately afterwards since I didn't have any numbness then.

Depends what kind of filling, and how numb you are. If its a compostie filling, you can eat right away, as long as you're not too numb, a silver fill you shoud wait 2 hours, and then eat soft foods only for 24 hours.
