I had some fillings replaced on Tuesday and still have numbness in my lower lip and chin as of Friday night. I get pins and needles when I smile big, sometimes with chewing and yawning. When I called the dentist the day after, they told me to "give it a couple of days." How common is this? Thanks in advance.
Did you have needle in you mouth to numb the pain when filling your teeth ?? If so I never heard of it taking this long to wear off . One dentist told me to drink coke so to take the numbness out of my mouth . I took such a long time to wear off the meds he put in my mouth . Well, if this is still happing next week, Please call him again.
