| Black Stuff in Gums!!
Hello,
I have a huge concern. A few weeks ago I woke up and there was black "flakes" on the bottom of my teeth. I thought it was leftover pieces from when I ate corn on the cob the night before so I brushed it off and didn't think anything of it. A few weeks later I found this black stuff on my bottom teeth again but I hadn't eaten in two days so i started worrying. The next day, I notice that there is a black flake INSIDE my gums (right near a tooth on my lower teeth). I could see it through the gums and when I pull my gums down a little from the teeth I can see the black gunk.
Is this normal? Black flakes (or dark flakes/gunk/stuff) coming out of your gums? Have you ever heard of this? I've done an extensive search on the internet and have no idea what it is. Please help!!
I dont know what to think....I need to go see a dentist but Im going crazy!
