need soft food ideas for wisdom teeth removal

My son had his 4 wisdom teeth removed a few days ago. Can anyone give me some ideas of some soft foods that he can eat? I mean besides banannas, oatmeal, jello and ice cream? Thanks everyone

I remember that when I had mine out I got really tired of all the sweet pudding types of foods... so I went out and bought the StoveTop stuffing (the kind you make in the microwave). Add a little extra water to it and it is mushy enough. Pasta (like chopped up spaghetti, mac n' cheese and ramen noodles) doesn't really need to be chewed either (especially if it's slightly overcooked). You do get to wanting the taste of real food.

I could eat french toast, soft poached eggs and omelets, noodles and soup, mashed potatoes with cheese, tomato soup with bread mushed up in it...veg steamed and mashed with butter.

Thanks everyone for all the food ideas. I tried the pasta and he ate that right up with no problems. At least now I know with all your other food ideas he will not go hungry. Thanks

Pasta, apple sauce, any soups that don't have a lot of meat or hard veggies, tapioca puddings. I had major dental surgery done this past Monday and found that I could eat grilled Salmon (deboned). It wasn't that bad.
