Hi D- just had my assessment after the root planing and the perio specialist thought it was quite positive-most of the pockets seem to have tightened up abit , but there are a couple of areas that haven't so he is going to take out those 2 teeth to prevent any risk of spreading infection. I am happy with the result, but am still very unhappy about the appearance of my teeth-the gums are badly receded in parts and I need to do something about those to make me more confident about my appearance-however, I realise that the health of the gums is the most important at the moment so perhaps I can address the appearance later on if the gums continue to improve,.

How are your gums now??
