does sorness happens after at tooth extraction?

i went and got a lower moler extracted out and i found some took still in my gum so i pulled it out but its sore in that area. the sorness has eased up becaus i used warm salt and water. do you think i should go back to the dentist? because it dosent hurt its just a little sore

well,i wouldnt of advised you to of taken it out,yourself? you probably got an infection in it?
but there again your dentist should of made sure .he had taken it all out?

i would imagine though it would be a bit sore , keep rinsing your mouth out with salt water also get some cordysil mouth wash

I just had 2 molars pulled last Tuesday. My face is still swollen and still alot of pain. I am taking 800mg motrin 3 times daily for Fibro and not helping mouth or Fibro pain! Should mouth pain be gone now?

well,i would of thought the pain and swell would of gone down at least after 2-4 days maybe might be best to go back to dentist ,just in case an infection might of set in?
