22 hours a day with invisalign

Hi, I got Invisalign 10 days ago and I'm having a hard time keeping them in for 22 hours. I work two jobs and go to school, have low blood pressure/sugar. I have to eat frequently and don't have alot of time to do it. I think I probably manage to keep them in more like 18-20 hours a day and last night I went out and didn't wear them because I was drinking. My dentist mentioned if I needed to wearing them a bit longer than two weeks.. how long should I? Am I doing perminant damage? Also, does brushing my teeth upwards of 5 times a day hurt them?
