Hey everyone. Well this is new to me. About 3 days ago I felt like I was getting a sore throat. But I didnt have any other sicknesses. No fever, cough nothing. I started to lose my voice 2 days ago and it is back now a little but I realized that it wasn't my throat at all, its the back of my tongue. I tried looking at it in the mirror and I dont see anything wrong like white spots or whatever but it hurts to chew and hurts a lot to swallow.

I also seem to be I guess caughing up what looks like mucus. I know that sounds gross but I cant find anything on it when I try and google it. But its just the back on my tongue that really hurts and not my throat at all....which explains why the throat lossenges weren't working at all.

Now it did feel a little better today but as the day goes on it seems to hurt more and more. Does anyone know what this sounds like? Is it something I should see my doctor or dentist about.....any help would be great! Thanks in advance,
