Question White Spots on Front Teeth from Congestion

I woke up today with white spots on my front teeth. I am sick for the first time in many, many years and I have been sleeping and breathing through my mouth for a few days. I am so congested I have no smelling and taste. I read that your teeth can dry out because of this and that if you fully hydrate your body it will go away. Anyone ever been in a similar situation and did the white spots go away?
