Root Canals are overrated!
Sat in the chair for 2.5 hours, there was NOTHING TO IT. No pain, other than a teeny needle stick upon starting, and even that was a non event.

No follow up pain, minimal post-numb issues.

And NO MORE FEELING IN THE TOOTH LOL.

I had two sessions , each lasting 1 hour .. I didn't think it was that bad.
the worst part was when they had to put the thing in my mouth for the xrays, i kept gagging. It didn't last long...........I don't think it was that big of a deal. and now my tooth feels great......Better than dealing with the pain.........bride527

Most root canals are not difficult...but they have a bad reputation because not all of them go that way. Serious things can happen if not done properly. Wishing everyone similar outcomes!
