I live in Denver, CO and I went and saw a dentist on Saturday and he said I have to have all 5 of my upper crowns redone plus root canals on all of them. The problem is I have NO MONEY!! I called the county dental office and even they want bunches of money!! I don't know what to do except writing some bad checks -- Anyone-do you know of any other options, I am up a creek!!

I would talk with the dentist and explain your financial situation. Maybe they can arrange a payment plan for you - have you considered a second opinion? this sounds like alot of work and alot of money for the dentist. I dont trust them - you may want to have someone else take a look.

The problem is I don't have a regular dentist and I have awful credit so financing is not an option. I think writing a bad check or a couple of them is my only option.

well,i think the only solution is to go to another dentist ,see if he comes up with the same treatment,if they do,then perhaps have one done at a time pay one thing ,then once youve done that get the next treatment done

you only get in worse debt with a bad cheque

a bad check is not a good idea....it will come back to get you and then they wont continue the work....maybe if you are up front they will be helpful....hay its worth a try.....hay do you have a dental school in the area? they do work for free....its a thought....they have them here in boston and they do all your work for nothing and its a teaching situation.....something to consider....??
