Weak Teeth?

I just read in a magazine that if you don't floss on a regular basis, and eat relatively soft/mushy foods, you run the risk of weakening your gums and loosing your teeth?

Do we need to strengthen our teeth? For instance, eating crunchy foods or bitting down on string & pulling the string? Of course, flossing as well. Anyone know?

Re: Weak Teeth?

well,i dont think thats the whole case

i think as long as you eat healthy, and dont have lot of sugary food and drinks.
and you clean your teeth ,twice a day properly so cut out sweets chocolate, well, moderation as you should have a treat here and there

but some people who dont eat lot of sugary food yet still have problems
but it would help though

weak teeth can also become weak if you lack calcium ,so drink plenty of milk

well dentsits swear by flossing with string, but i dont like using floss ,as i think it can cut your gums and make things worse ,i used inbetween brushes
they go inbetween your teeth and on bottom of your gums does the same job and i think they are more better for your teeth and gums
