Implant and Invisalign? - Dental Health Message Board

Just a quick question...

I'm in the middle of my treatment plan en route to dental implants. I've already had my sinus lift surgery and am waiting the 9 months that is needed for proper healing (this will be in August). I just started Invisalign to move one tooth so there is enough room for an implant as well as to correct my front teeth from protuding out (I need a total of 4 implants). My question is...it looks like my invisalign treatment might take up to a year to be complete. Would I be able to get the first part of the implants, the abundment, and allow that to heal and once my Invisalign is complete, get the second part, the crowns? Can you get a procedure like this while having Invisalign? I'm trying to knock 2 birds out with one stone...

Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Youngone22! So glad I caught you on a more recent post because I have exactly the same problems as you! I was born without 7 permanent teeth and at the moment have braces to straighten those I do have. After braces I'll be having implants. I've always been depressed about the state of my teeth and it was refreshing to hear that I wasn't alone in my problems! I hope we can keep in touch

Hi, I have had a wisdom tooth pulled and two dental implants put into my lower jaw, it is 14 days later and I am still in pain, I finished my antibiotics today, there is swelling and redness around the implant and removed tooth area, still on pain meds, is it normal to still be in this much pain, i wake up three times a night, please help, Thanks
