I have been on this site a lot looking for information on my apicoectomy. Well, I finally had to go and have it done yesterday. I was so nervous beforehand. 36 hours later and I am doing fine. The worst part about it was the injections, one or two did hurt but once I was numb that was it, I felt nothing
. I did feel pressure but no pain whatsoever. I kept my eyes closed throughout just in case I caught a glimpse in a reflective surface somewhere. When the local wore off I was sore, but pain killers took that away instantly. Here I am the following day, no pain, a little tender now and again but its over and now the healing process begins. To all of you out there about to go for an apicoectomy, the worry beforehand is far worse than the procedure itself. I hope to get my 6 front teeth crowned now (have to wait 6 months though). Am actually looking forward to getting them done now that this is behind me. Any questions anybody has about it let me know, only too happy to answer them.
