Yeah - it sounds like if you do not resolve this soon you could be heading for muscular tmj. When bridges and/or crowns do not fit correctly they can casues bite issues and muscle problems. Adusting nearby natural teeth to correct the problem can make things worse - it may throw the bite off balance. The dentist should have made an impression before any work was done to guide the lab in making the perm replacement - either have him remove the crowns and redo them or ask for your models and bring them to another dentist that specializes in tmj, bioaesthetics or neuromuscular dentistry - some prothos may specialize in bite problem or muscular dysfunction as well.

I had a problem with a crown on an upper canine hur once the perm was placed - it was fine with temp cement - but once the perm cement was used - it hurt whenever I smiled or spoke. It felt like the crown had been twisted into place and was pushing against my fixed front bridge. The dentist insisted nothing was wrong, refused to remove it or replace it, even though I offered to pay for it, he said I would get used to it. Eventually it triggered chronic facial pain and then facial spasms (and a host of tmj symptoms) - it would be much easier and better for you if you deal with this now and get it corrected before other damage is done that is not correctable or is hard to treat.
