Wisdom Teeth Extraction question - Dental Health Message Board

Yesterday, around 1:00 PM, I had all four wisdom teeth pulled. I luckily have very little pain, only using 2 vicodin since and only really for discomfort. I was also put on steroids for inflammation, and penicillin. I slept on and off throughout the night and napped yesterday after taking the meds. At around 6 am this morning, I took all my meds as directed and just woke up from the meds now. When I woke up I found blood on my blanket from drool and can feel my stitches coming out already. IS THIS NORMAL???

i had wisdom teeth out ,but lucky enough one at a time .mine was done at the dentist .and was ok never had to have stitches in mine
i would say blood on the pillow would probably be normal ,especially as you had 4 out at once .

i would keep an eye out on it take a look,see if you see a opening where the stitches are (make sure your fingers are clean) if your still not sure ,go see the dentist or hospital to check it out ,better to be safe and sorry

Thanks for the advice! I called the surgeon and they said it's not the full stitches coming out, it's just thends of the string hanging out and that it's normal!
