| painful front tooth
I had my upper left front tooth out due to a fractured root and had suffered from a chronic pain and sensitivity with that tooth for 20 years! I decided to have an implant but whilst waiting for implantation to set I had a mary land bridge adhered to my good remaining front tooth. Over the course of treatment my good front tooth became painful and sensitive. Now my implant treatment is complete and successful, my left front implant is pain free but my normal right front tooth is now tender and painful to the touch. Some days are better than others but before I embarked on my treatment I had no problem with my upper right front tooth it was completely normal. The x rays show no reason for the problem but the fact is I have cured the problem of the left only to have had it transferred to the right. I think I may have a hair line fracture in the front enamel could this be a cause of the problem and if so what is the cure. I believe the mary land bridge may have caused damage to the tooth it was attached to and am hoping that it will get better in time. The bridge has been off for 8 months.
