Hi....i think price of dentistry varies from area to area....it can
be twice the cost if you live in New York or LA and much less
in another part of the country. There are three different types
of crowns the one you are speaking of and there is one with
non precious metal and then the most popular are the empress crowns which are all porcelain. They are the ones
that most dentists do because people do want that grey line
around the gum line which often shows metal under the porcelain of the crown....the cosmetic effect is not good and
the ones that are all procelain are really beautiful and the color is great with everything clean at the gum line...Karen
