Re: flossing with braces?
I have a Waterpik-one for on my bathroom counter and one battery powered portable. I would highly recommend an oral irrigator to remove food particles from your braces. I bought a battery powered one for my niece that had braces. It gets stuff that brushing and flossing miss. I wished I had one years ago. It's great to use to rinse out your mouth after eating too.
You probably still need to floss at least once a day though.
