Try to avoid smoking as much as you can. Smoking delays the healing process. A particular no no is smoking after the procedure. You'll increase your risk of dry socket, which is very painful. The more you avoid smoking, the better you'll do.
I did this many years ago when I had 2 removed, the bleeding was probably heavier than it should have been, it tends to delay the clotting process. I was also on antibiotics for about 1 week which knocked me out due to getting an infection afterwards. Please try to avoid before and after procedure. This is just my experience of it, everyone is different..
