Angry pieces of bone after extraction ?

hi

I had a tooth out 2 weeks ago, everything was fine until i felt a sharp object comming out of my gum, i went back to the dentist and i had to have another injection and was cut to extract the piece of bone.

Now only friday just gone i have another piece of bone comming out of my gum from a different area than last time - should this be happening to me?

Now i am on the waiting list to have all my teeth out 16 in total and 3 off them are wisdom teeth,

1) will i be put to sleep
2) will i stay in hospital

i basically need to no what to expect as im kacking myself

cheers guys

Re: pieces of bone after extraction ?

Bone spurs are very common with extractions. They are little pieces of bone that work themselves out of the gum following an extraction. So, don't worry to much about that. Your dentist could sedate you for the rest of your extractions, depending on your comfort level. Some patients have the extractions done without sedation. You will not be in a hospital or anything.
