It's the taste of blood, possibly you brush too hard and gums are bleeding, or you have a gum infection, try a softer brush and if not help then visit dentist.
If it persists you may also want to see your dr and get tested for strp throat - it often produces a metallic taste as does older amalgam dental fillings that are deteriorating.
