What are the symtoms of a wisdom tooth and can it make your throat hurt

For me i had pain in left side of jaw, a painfull pressure feeling around ear, a clicking sound when opening mouth and general headache, and because wisdom teeth are difficult to keep clean they are prone to infections which might cause throat problems.

With both my left wisdom teeth, I had pain that shot up to my temple and radiated back and forth. This was about two years apart for the top and bottom wisdom teeth. My face was very tender around the tooth. Painkillers did not help; they usually don't for the wisdom tooth. With the last wisdom tooth I had pulled (two weeks ago), the pain started in October and lasted five days before subsiding enough that I could sleep through the night. The pain it put me in was so bad I wanted my boyfriend to hit me over the head with a frying pan. If the infection is bad enough, it can make your throat hurt, because the pain may go through your jaw.
