Arm & Hammer Whitening Booster

I have relatively white teeth since I don't drink coffee but I do drink tea occasionally. I have noticed, however, that in the past 6 months of so my teeth haven't been as white as they were before.
I was never satisfied with the whiteness (though I wouldn't call them yellow) so I couple of times I purchased the Crest White Strips (Classic) and used two boxes back to back. Using only one made pretty much no noticable difference so I used both boxes that I had. I don't really know how well it worked, maybe they whitened my teeth a shade or two, but it was almost insignificant to me. I just don't understand how some people can get their teeth super white with those strips - they never worked that well for me. My teeth were, however, white enough so I just left them alone.
I used the strips probably 2+ years ago and my teeth remained white for a long time. But in the past 6 months maybe I've noticed a significant color change... they're not as white as they used to be (and I mainly notice this in pictures when I compare the ones from now to others from a couple of years ago). It started to bother me so I considered trying to Rembrandt Whitening System - but I couldn't find it anywhere so I contacted them and was informed that it's been discontinued. They have a new 2-hour system but I am certainly not going to put my teeth through that kind of abuse.

Anyway, I just saw a commercial for this Arm&Hammer Whitening Booster that you put on your toothpaste and brush your teeth with it. It sounds like a good idea since you can actually brush ALL of your teeth and whiten them at the same time instead of just the front ones like with the strips.
I looked up the product online and it has good reviews, but than again so do the whitening strips and I was far from impressed with those. I currently use the Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste and it just doesn't seem to be doing it's job. My teeth aren't getting any whiter and I don't think that I'm going to repurchase a toothpaste that costs $7 for a tiny 3oz tube when I can get a regular 6oz tube of Crest for less than $3.

Has anyone else tried this Arm&Hammer stuff? What is your honest experience? Is it worth trying? Thankfully it only costs around $5 so I am probably going to give it a try if I can find it anywhere. Like I said, I would love to have super white teeth but it just doesn't seem possible with drugstore products so if this stuff will whiten them a shade or two I'd be happy.

Re: Arm&Hammer Whitening Booster

Toothpaste whiteners are more maintenence whiteners, not shade changers. They will get surface stains off, but don't do anything to inbedded shading. If you are not happy with the strip products, you can always go to a dentist for a professional whitening, which is more effective.

Re: Arm & Hammer Whitening Booster

I would if I had insurance... but I don't so I can't exactly go to the dentist and spend $300+ on whitening. I guess I'll just try this stuff anyway and if it doesn't work, oh well. At least I won't be spending $30 on the strips that don't really do anything.
