Lumineers - Dental Health Message Board

I have lumineers and i love them!!! Ive had them almost 3 yrs and they were pricey, for 8 teeth they were 9k but well worth it!! it was somewhat painful to have them put on but im sure it was nothing compared to having teeth filed down as with real veneers. Lumineers will not make teeth smaller thats for sure, seeing as I was adding to my teeth, not subtracting by filing.

This worked out for me because my teeth were small and had spacing. I guess they only work for people who have small teeth like me. but they are smooth and blend right in to the back of my teeth

some people feel they are too smooth compared to their real teeth, but i guess different people get different results. Also, i went to a really good dentist so check out your dentist before-hand. hope that helps!

[B]Hi! I agree! I've had my Lumineers/veneers on now for 2 months. They were really hard to get used to at first - but I had gaps also and a few small teeth. The dentist shaped my teeth to fit the Lumineers. It pays to check out your dentist's credentials first. My dentist was great. I had no problems whatsoever and they fit like a glove. They do feel "slick" but I now have white teeth and I'm very happy with them. I had severe tetracycline staining from a child. I had no intention of getting my teeth ground down and having to undergo those shots for caps. I had 6 upper and 6 lower. They were $8800 and worth every penny.

Glad to hear you are having a good experience .... I am fixing to get some work done next Tuesday and I must admit at first i was very excited but now that the day is getting closer i am getting so nervous !!! Any words of advice ?
