Pain with dental filling and extraction, help !!! - Dental Health Message Board

A wk ago, I had a composite dental filling, and a wisdom tooth extraction. I took Vicodin for a few days, helped, but that's all. Now a wk later, I am still in pain, Jaw pain, hurts constantly, and unable to open mouth wide,stiff, have to eat soft small foods slowly, tongue hurts, hurts to swallow, throat feels sore, back of throat hurts, ear pain, teeth hurt, along with gums, headache, and shooting pains in my jaw. Talking too much hurts, it just hurts all over my face sinus. What is going on here ???

Contact your oral surgeon because you may have some complications that should be treated.

I'm planning on going bk to the dentist nxt wk. He said I would probably have some pain for a couple of wks. I just wanted to find out, if this sounded familliar to anyone out there........?

Hi, I don't think it last as long. you shd get chk frm other dentist may be.
