Question infected cyst in upper gum line

about 20 yrs ago was having upper dental implants. Screws were put in bone but I didn't finish proceedure. Had dentures. about 4 years ago started having swelling of upper lip and under nose. Found out cyst had formed in hole where screws were once at. It becamse infected. Oral surgeon lanced it, took out cyst and some bone that had gotten eaten away by infection. He said the hole and bone would grow back, everything would be okay. 4 yrs later (today) it is happening again, the cyst is back, it is infected..the hard knot is under my nose and on gum line. Left side of face swollen as well as upper lip. I can feel the knot under my nose and on up in it..IT hurts like an abcessed tooth!! mouth is hot, it throbs...I have not seen the oral surgeon yet as he cna't see me until next week. I am on my 2nd presc. of antibotics and it doesn't seem any better. What are the dangers of this happeneing again and being so close to the brain, sinus, etc. What could happen?
