So i have yet another question about my wisdom tooth. Lower left wisdom tooth. I go to the dentist on july 20 about it. This tooth has caused me pain since july 15th. Throbbing and sharp pains. I think its infected because the gum is covering the tooth which by the way if half way gone already. Done been to an oral surgeon and I just dont have the money to have all 4 wisdom teeth pulled right now. Here is the question....Can/Would an oral surgeon just pull the one wisdom tooth causing me the pain right now. I think I could ask around (parents and grandparent) and get the money to pay to remove just 1 tooth right now. I am going to ask my dentist what he thinks I should do as well on the 20th. Im just curious.....

of COURSE you can have just one tooth removed. Definitely!!
You know, there are people who have all of their wisdom teeth come in and they cause no trouble and they stay very happily in the mouth. There are other people who have one or two wisdom teeth that are trouble and the others stay. No need to rush into removing them all at once, even if money were not an issue.

Thank you for the reply. I had went to my dentist office and seen the other dentist because my dentist was on vacation because of pain in that wisdom tooth back in may and he gave me antibiotics and told me might as well get all 4 removed at once and sent me to the oral surgeon. I was thinking why not get just the one for now and yeah even if money wasnt a problem i only need the one wisdom tooth out right now. Hopefully I can get this tooth out within the next week.
