Give your extraction site a good day or two to form a clot, first. That's the most important part, letting it clot naturally. That means no rinsing and spitting, no drinking from a straw (suction can release the clot). Peroxide is mostly water and is safe to rinse with after a few days. Sometimes the less you do, the better.

I wouldn't even use peroxide at all. You should get a syringe and you can just use some water in it to get food out of your teeth. If it's your top wisdom teeth you don't even have to do that. You really shouldn't mess with it at all until your dentist tells you its better. If you mess it you will risk getting dry sockets which is where the blood clot falls out and leaves the bone exposed. Those were our post op instructions anyway hope you feel better!
