Duration of numbness after orthognathic surgery

Dear Doctor,

I had lower jaw orthognathic surgery done 12 days ago. Though the swelling is subsiding I really have a concern about the numbness caused due to the same in my lower lip area. Kindly advise the duration of this numbness as I am very much worried due to the same.
