You have had a 2nd opinion that is is really necessary, right?
Be sure to ask them to explain clearly what is going to happen, what to expect, get all of your questions answered before the procedure. Maybe start writing a list now that you can bring, so you'll feel a little more in control of things when you're there.
I guess you would not be putting yourself though this is if was not necessary, however it sounds like you are only going to be tooth less for a few hours, go some where quiet like a library.
Hope all went well.
Hey everthing went good its been a week .. alittle sore still lol . I have a question for other denture wearers .. are they suppost to be so thick ? Ive had a retainer after braces before and it was really thin . But this seems to thick . I talk like a duck..lol

Immediate dentures tend to be thick so that there is room or material there to make adjustments with. Plus since this is your first denture experience the feeling of the denture in your mouth is going to be very foreign. A retainer can be thin because it is not doing all the work that denture must do.
Talking, eating, smiling everything you do with your mouth will have to be re-learned. You probably do not sound as bad as you think you do- record your voice speaking normally and see how you sound.
