| Broken roots after root canal
Can anyone tell me if it is common for a tooth that was crowned and then had to have root canal a few months later and a few months after that the roots brake. Could the roots have broken from the root canal not being done correctly. The person that did the root canal has not been practicing long and just wondering if he could have done something to cause all the problems. My dentist first questioned where I had the root canal done, like that is what caused it. When I told him that the new person in his office had done it......not another word was said to imply that that could have been the cause. Also had a lot of trouble with the root canal. Just makes me think that if the root canal was done incorrectly and caused the root to weaken and break. Have had other root canals done, different place, on teeth that had crowns and never had any problems.
