Part of tooth broke off around filling - help
I seem to be having a year full of dental problems. After just getting done today with the permanent filling on my root canalled front tooth (yay), I was sitting at home this evening having a snack and one side of an upper side tooth broke off around the filling. There is still some tooth left above the gum line and it does not hurt at all. I remember this happening to an upper tooth on the other side a few years back and as I remember all they did was refill it and build it back up and it is still going strong after many years. Do you think they would be able to do this same thing with this one? I am going to try and have the dentist look at it tomorrow. I suppose it would depend on how much of the tooth is left to build up on. What would the other options be? I don't want to lose the tooth and I guess everything is dentally fixable for a price anyway. I was looking for some suggestions and comments before I see my dentist. Thanks so very much!
