Re: Loose Tooth

Hi,
It really depends on how much bone is left to hold the teeth in. That is why an xray is needed.

Solutions to loose teeth can range from splinting to extraction with implant replacement. It depends on the degree of bone loss.

Hope this helps. You dentist will need to see the xray before you can proceed.

Best to you,
Gellia

Re: Loose Tooth

Hi again,
They can't really do anything until they see how much bone is left. Splinting is useless unless the neighboring teeth have good bone, too. Four teeth would be alot to splint unless there is still a lot of bone left. Bone grafts may be an option.

It depends on how loose they are. It's impossible to know anything without an xray of the bone loss amount as to the remedy. I had one slightly loose tooth and had to sacrifice a total of four because the surrounding bone wouldn't have supported a splinting procedure.

Good luck!
My best to you.
Gellia
