Mouth Sore w/ image
This sore has been present for 5 days. I noticed it after I ate a bag of chips and brushed my teeth, which caused a lot of bleeding. I assumed I just cut it with a chip. However, it has not subsided regardless of mouth sore products. I have a dentist appt scheduled for two weeks but would like some assessment until that time.

It is pretty tender to touch. Please assist.

FYI- it is under the 2nd molar- there is a filling on the tooth above it.

Is it a gum boil? You might do an image search for that online and see if it looks like that. I think a number of different things can cause those, but they are usually dental related. Good luck.
