Pain around back of jaw with swollen inner cheek: wisdom tooth or infection?
Yesterday, it just started randomly hurting while I was driving home. When not put under pressure, it's just my inner cheek that hurts (right side). It's a pretty dull pain, but it gets worse when I open my mouth wide and a swollen part of my cheek brushes the top of my bottom row of teeth. It's a bit swollen on the inside, but my face isn't any puffier because of it. I brushed my teeth and the pain itself is stemming from the back of my gum ridge on the bottom, where there isn't a tooth. I'm 20 years old and haven't had my wisdom teeth removed, so is it possible that this is one coming in, or is it more likely an infection of some sort?
