| Pain after dental implant
Yesterday, I had a dental implant placed two months after I had my lower front tooth extracted. Because my teeth were so close together in the front, the dentist really had to wrangle to place it. Immediately following the procedure I had pretty severe pain in my adjacent tooth. However, the site where the implant was placed is pretty pain free--just general soreness that you would expect. I'm worried that he might have damaged the adjacent tooth. Is this normal? It feels like the adjacent tooth was pushed over too far and the slightest movement of the tooth causes severe pain. I'm just wondering if this is normal and will eventually go away.
