| Occlusal build up using composite?
I am 39 and my teeth are quite worn as a result of bruxism (and possibly amelogenesis imperfecta) with the dentin being significantly exposed on several. The dentist has suggested doing an occlusal build up using composite on the worst teeth. Specifically, this would be 4 rear molars on each side of top and 3 rear molars on each side of bottom. She said, given my age, she didnt think crowns were appropriate.
I am overseas so, I need the pros and cons of this procedure and typical price in the states for something like this so that I can really fully evaluate my options. (I am being quoted roughly $150 per tooth)
