If your crown was not done correctly, you should go back to the dentist who did it originally and it should be replaced free of charge. If this dentist refuses to do this, you should contact your local Primary Care Trust. The second dentist is wrong to say that the crown cannot be replaced under the NHS, the fee for this is £204. Again, the Trust will confirm this. However, you may have difficulty in finding a dentist who will do the work for such a small fee. The Trust should help find you a dentist.
