After Wisdom Teeth Removal - Mouth Hygiene
Hello,
I had my bottom two wisdom teeth and my last baby tooth (tooth after the fang on the left) removed on Thursday, and the swelling was the worst bit, as I'm pretty fanatic about keeping my teeth clean and it made it very hard to do so. I didn't brush them on the first night, but I did start brushing them from the day after onwards. The only thing was I couldn't reach the teeth nearer the back. Now it's been four days and I'm still struggling to brush my teeth. The swelling's gone down substantially, but I've been left with a yellow tongue and a green discharge that tastes disgusting, not to mention my teeth near the back feel disgusting. I'm also suffering from toothache, but it feels like it's the teeth surrounding the removed wisdom teeth and not the actual site of the surgery, so I'm worried that all the bacteria in my saliva is damaging the teeth I can't brush properly. I wake up every two hours in the night and my mouth feels and tastes disgusting. I know I shouldn't, but I've resulted to using mouthwash because I'm so worried about my teeth. My stitches are dissolvable ones. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?
