Question peridontal disease

I have serious peridontal disease but I cannot afford to even see a regular dentist let alone a peridontist for treatments. I have already been told that I could loose all my teeth if it doesnot get worked on, but I am in the process of applying for social securtiy disability and can get state insurance but my state cut the funding for state inusrance so it doesnt cover dental at all and I cant afford private insurance. My psychologist told me he doesnt understand why the state wont cover it since it can actually lead to heart disease and even contribute to depression and other serious issues. The state will cover dental if you are actually ON disability but then, and only then. What do I do?
