Hello,
I had two wisdom teeth removed on Thursday, i wasn't in a great deal of pain after the procedure, and the following days. I have now finished the course of antibiotics (yesterday) and this morning have woke up to what looks like bruising on my lower jaw, more towards the front than the back. The bruising wasn't there previously.
The pain also seems to be aching more than it has done for the first few days.
I had stitches and was sedated during the procedure. I have followed all the procedures to keep the area clean apart from rinsing with salt water, as i found this almost impossible for myself.
I am still struggling to eat properly as when i open my mouth the pain seems to become stronger. My jaw only comfortably opens slightly.
Is this normal? as i was told the pain should calm down slightly after roughly a week, but it seems to be getting worse.
I am also booked in again mid July to have the other two removed, as they are also impacted.
Any help would be appreciated, as i have now run out of pain killers
